| a pricing situation such as this I would call/email the vendor asking if that was a misprint or a mistake before placing the order. On the chance that it's correct, I've confirmed the pricing and would let others know about the good deal (thereby helping the vendor promote the item by word of mouth). If it was incorrect, I've at least helped the vendor correct a problem and avoid taking a loss - hopefully ensuring that they will be around the next time I need to make a purchase. Who knows, maybe they'd be willing to split the difference with me for helping them find the problem. I realize this may not strike some people as what a consumer should do but if I have a trusted vendor that gives me a good price and good customer service, it's the least I can do to pay them back for all of they've done for me.
